At Mother's Rest Postpartum Doula our mission is to care for Gainesville families through our faith-based postpartum doula services. We support mothers by holding space for mom. Our goal is to protect her peace no matter what stage she is in during early postpartum. With gentle mother care, compassionate listening, newborn care, lactation resources, and restful routines that ease the fourth trimester, our moms are seen, loved, and renewed. Our approach blends sisterhood compassion, encouragement, and evidence based support so parents can recover, bond with their baby, and thrive in early parenthood. We also connect families to trusted community and healthcare partners to create a strong circle of care.
Postpartum support is more than encouragement; it’s hands-on help. We assist with light household tasks, meal preparation, and newborn care guidance so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby.
