Mother's Rest Postpartum Doula provides
- Virtual and in-person support (Whether it's preparing delicious nutrient dense meals, allowing mom time to sleep, or drawing a soothing sitz bath-- mother's rest is our top priority)
- Non-biased emotional, physical, and informational support (Client led discussions-- you are not alone in this! We provide a safe space for mothers to be themselves)
- Building confidence in new born care (Feeding, sleeping, and every day routines)
- Support in physical and emotional healing (Specialized care as mama's body is healing and resting. Good rest allows your body to heal and recover efficiently so you can feel your best as you adjust to your new family dynamic!)
- Educating families on newborn care and characteristics (Partners/spouses learn how to best support mother and thrive together through the newborn stage of parenthood)
- Assistance with household organization (Light household management, nutrient rich foods available for mom, sibling and pet care, etc...)
- Supportive resources according to needs (Positive referrals to local services whenever needed)
About Me
I'm Jerushah, your motherhood community companion and ally! I am a Christian, postpartum doula, and childcare provider who sees the inspiring beauty in motherhood. No matter the challenges, no mother should be without support! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and also following my passion as a traditional postpartum doula. My purpose as your postpartum doula is to bring an environment that allows mama to peacefully rest, heal, and feel more empowered with her God-given virtue. With uplifting respect, love, and care I nurture her body, mind, and heart during her transition as she navigates through early postpartum.
